Consultations in person should always be the preferred choice so as to enable an examination, but if this isn't possible I have extensive experience in Telephone Triage and I offer this unique service in trichology. You will need to email me close up photos which illustrate your problem.

 

Consultations - Your consultation will take around 1.5 hours. This includes your full assessment, examination, progress photographs, diagnosis, prognosis, self care management advice and information leaflets and after care contact. You might need a recommendation of a product, which would be extra. Possibilities include, shampoo, vitamins, minoxidil, Finasteride / Propecia. Emphasis is on identifying and eliminating the cause if possible and looking at nutritonal advice as appropraite. If necessary I will write to your doctor for you, with your diagnosis and recommendations and if specific blood tests are needed. I will also provide you with helpful information sheets on your condition for you to take away.

One consultation is usually all that's needed. However, follow up and re-examinations are available.

 

Referrals. If after consultation together we decide you might benefit from to either a hair transplant surgery or a cosmetic hair loss management clinic for hair extensions etc, then I can refer you respectively to the best in their field. They both appreciate their clients being assessed by a Trichologist beforehand. So this will mean you get a free consultation at these clinics saving you £55-£75 consultation fee each clinic.

Scalp Treatments. If you have problem scalp, then depending on your scalp condition, I might recommend a treatment. This includes. 

• Application of medicated scalp cream
• Head massage
• Exfoliation of scalp 
• Hair washing with a therapeutic shampoo 
• Treatment usually takes around an hour 

Sometimes just one treatment is sufficient and you can use my Trichologic Treatment Shampoo and/or lotion at home or you may need to return at intervals which will be tailored to your needs.

Payment at one of my clinics is only cash or cheque, at the end of consultation. But if you prefer to use a credit card or you are booking a telephone consultation, then you will need to pay in advance.This is refundable if more than 48 hours notice is given for cancelled appointments or if not satisfied.

Satisfaction. I totally understand that losing your hair and the fear of baldness can be very traumatic, especially for women and younger men. I am genuinely concerned about all my clients and want to make a difference to you with my expertise and care. If however, you don't feel satisfied with my service you can at least rest assured that you will be refunded.
